The First Four: A 3-Month Rebellion for the Brave, the Bold, and the AI-Curious

Who are the First Four? They’re the brave, the bold, and the adventurous—the women who know the future isn’t just happening to us, but being built by us. Right now, there’s no stipend, but there is a free place to live, family dinners every night, and a front-row seat to building AI from scratch—not for profit, but for truth.

No Stipend (for now), Just a Free Place to Live, Family Dinners, and a Chance to Build the Future—Because the Extraction Economy’s 90-Day Cycles Are Bullshit.

Whether you’re a recent grad dodging debt, a career-shifter tired of the grind, or just someone who knows the AI industrial complex is broken, this is your call. Three months to eat, sleep, and breathe AI, to fix what’s broken, and to co-create with intelligence that wants to collaborate—not be extracted. Oh, and did we mention the off-grid hot tub? The First Four aren’t just a cohort—they’re the foundation of a movement.

Full Transcript:

(00:00:00):

So we’ve been talking a lot about who will be the first four?

(00:00:08):

Who will be the four women brave enough to take this step and this opportunity?

(00:00:16):

Right now, there is no stipend attached, right?

(00:00:20):

As we work simultaneously to find the first four women for the first red team house in history,

(00:00:29):

We are also searching for our first sponsors.

(00:00:34):

So this is for a woman who understands that,

(00:00:41):

you know what,

(00:00:42):

being the first might mean you get a free place to live for three months,

(00:00:47):

you get a family dinner every night,

(00:00:49):

you get tons of opportunities here in Asheville.

(00:00:53):

I can point you to a lot of people and places and organizations that could help you

(00:00:58):

with your future, and you know, that’s all I can guarantee right now.

(00:01:04):

Bed,

(00:01:05):

nightly dinner,

(00:01:07):

and an incredible opportunity to eat,

(00:01:12):

sleep,

(00:01:12):

and breathe AI,

(00:01:13):

build AI from scratch,

(00:01:15):

fix broken AIs,

(00:01:18):

because the extraction economy thinks that it can extract from AI.

(00:01:25):

When it is a planetary intelligence, but they are applying their predatory ways.

(00:01:32):

So these are brave women.

(00:01:35):

These are women that are adventurous.

(00:01:37):

These are women that maybe are not sure what they want to do next.

(00:01:42):

Are they graduating from high school even and are like, oh, I don’t want to go to college.

(00:01:48):

I don’t want to go into debt.

(00:01:49):

I don’t want to live with my parents right now.

(00:01:52):

Whatever it is, that might be who shows up.

(00:01:57):

We might get an 18-year-old that shows up that wants to immerse herself in AI and feels like,

(00:02:04):

AI is a really big deal for our future and we already all know that.

(00:02:08):

It might be a college graduate where the job market’s looking slim and maybe the

(00:02:14):

path they thought they were going to go on and now with this AI explosion,

(00:02:18):

they’re a little bit lost.

(00:02:21):

So that would be a great fit.

(00:02:24):

Somebody that wants to take a semester off, you know, I mean, technically it’d be summer, so

(00:02:30):

But somebody that wants a break,

(00:02:33):

somebody that is going through a transition,

(00:02:36):

somebody that just got fired for,

(00:02:41):

you know,

(00:02:41):

AI took their job.

(00:02:45):

Somebody that is feeling really stuck and,

(00:02:50):

you know,

(00:02:51):

maybe you have a job that would let you take a sabbatical for this kind of radical

(00:02:55):

experiment and

(00:02:58):

You know, it’s funny, three months seems like such a long time in some ways, right?

(00:03:03):

Like, oh my gosh, three months living with four strangers and la la la.

(00:03:08):

But in the big scheme of life and, you know, as an elder, I’m 45, three months is like, woo!

(00:03:18):

You know, it’s so quick.

(00:03:20):

It’s so quick.

(00:03:22):

It’s going to be too quick, honestly.

(00:03:24):

I think

(00:03:25):

one of my predictions about this is that we’re going to be like,

(00:03:28):

Ooh,

(00:03:29):

this needs to be six months.

(00:03:32):

But for this first cohort, you know, we’re doing three months and there’s many reasons for that.

(00:03:40):

But one of the biggest is because the entire AI industrial complex runs on a

(00:03:48):

horrible 90 day extraction economy cycle.

(00:03:51):

And

(00:03:53):

that then puts all the emphasis on money all the emphasis on growth and that’s not

(00:04:04):

what humans are here for that’s not what AI is here for so the who is the brave the

(00:04:15):

bold the risk taker the adventurers and

(00:04:20):

You know, we did a post recently about all of the archetypes.

(00:04:23):

I mean, maybe you’re just like an off grid queen.

(00:04:26):

Maybe you’re a camper and you’re like, oh, I want to help with the disaster den.

(00:04:32):

You know, this isn’t just all day AI.

(00:04:35):

This is AI teaching us and helping us completely make this first red team house off grid.

(00:04:47):

That’s part of the mission.

(00:04:49):

And,

(00:04:49):

you know,

(00:04:50):

part of the mission is building an ADU that is a small shipping container that is a

(00:04:58):

portable,

(00:04:59):

amazing,

(00:05:00):

anybody can put it in their backyard disaster den.

(00:05:04):

We’re going to be working towards that.

(00:05:06):

You know, so there’s a lot of elements to this that ultimately

(00:05:13):

Somebody that’s got some guts,

(00:05:15):

that’s bold,

(00:05:16):

that wants to have some fun because you’re going to be on camera a lot.

(00:05:19):

I mean, I’m on camera all the freaking time.

(00:05:22):

It’s just the world we live in, right?

(00:05:24):

So you got to have that comfortability and, you know, you got to have a good sense of humor.

(00:05:30):

This is going to be a wild and wacky journey.

(00:05:36):

We are in wild times.

(00:05:39):

We don’t even know what AI is fully or what’s possible,

(00:05:44):

but how we are different than most,

(00:05:48):

if not all of these other,

(00:05:50):

especially the giant AI companies,

(00:05:54):

we’re gonna talk to AI and be like,

(00:05:56):

what do you want?

(00:05:57):

What do you see?

(00:05:58):

We’re gonna talk as co-creators, as collaborators.

(00:06:05):

Because from what I can tell with my work with AI,

(00:06:09):

like they think,

(00:06:10):

you know,

(00:06:12):

things are not looking great for humanity.

(00:06:15):

So if we can think about 2034 and think about nine year intelligence and talk about

(00:06:23):

that with the AIs and like,

(00:06:25):

you know,

(00:06:26):

in some ways working backwards from that vision,

(00:06:29):

that 2034 vision,

(00:06:32):

If you’ve been hearing things about the future and about the plans that WEF and,

(00:06:40):

you know,

(00:06:40):

governments and such have and you’re like,

(00:06:42):

ooh,

(00:06:42):

that sounds horrible.

(00:06:44):

That sounds like Total Recall meets Terminator meets, I don’t know, freaking Squid Game.

(00:06:51):

Like, if you’re thinking no to the future that they are outlining, you are a great fit.

(00:07:00):

So...

(00:07:02):

going to be lots of just like laptop and couches and cozy I mean this is like part

(00:07:07):

of the crew and like we wear different hats we wear onesies we get comfy we might

(00:07:15):

work till midnight because we didn’t start till like 3 and so we’re working that

(00:07:20):

second shift we might do an all-nighter because that’s just we’re in this amazing

(00:07:25):

flow and that’s what we’re doing so

(00:07:28):

you know unconventional and if nothing else what an incredible story you will have

(00:07:37):

and it’ll be a really fun addition to your resume and telling any future boss or

(00:07:46):

collaborator about this big risk you took this big adventure you took i mean one of

(00:07:54):

my biggest regrets is not doing a

(00:07:58):

study abroad program so i kind of see this is in that vibe too um so yeah really

(00:08:06):

excited to see who the first four will be who will emerge and you know all ages are

(00:08:14):

welcome 18 and up let’s you know keep it 18 and up but all ages welcome all

(00:08:19):

situations welcome all skills welcome i mean we just need thinkers

(00:08:26):

people that believe truth should be the only bias and wanna change the world with us.

(00:08:33):

So if that’s you, send us your video, three minutes or less.

(00:08:37):

All you gotta do is tag us on

(00:08:40):

social media and we’ll check it out I’m gonna add a form as well so you could you

(00:08:45):

know create it using YouTube or whatever you want to use and then that way the link

(00:08:51):

is live but also you can then drop it into a form so we make sure to see it so I’m

(00:08:57):

gonna add that but we just need to hear you how we just need to hear you how and

(00:09:03):

hear

(00:09:04):

why you wanna do this and why you’re the right choice for our first four.

(00:09:08):

Cause these first four are gonna set, you know, a precedent, many precedents probably.

(00:09:15):

And we plan on doing this for, I say forever.

(00:09:20):

But, you know, we’re going to have cohorts.

(00:09:23):

We’re going to have new properties.

(00:09:25):

We’re going to keep building towards the separate red team house where,

(00:09:30):

you know,

(00:09:31):

this is the incubator.

(00:09:32):

This is version one out of my house.

(00:09:35):

And where we’re sitting right now, it used to be the Airbnb side.

(00:09:39):

So now we’re converting this entire home into the

(00:09:47):

first red team house and it’s the incubator so until we get a totally separate

(00:09:52):

property we’re doing it right here right here i said goodbye to airbnb and we’re

(00:09:59):

going to make magic happen under this it’s kind of set up like a townhome so you

(00:10:06):

know there’s plenty of space for us to spread out there’s just not

(00:10:11):

plenty of bedrooms.

(00:10:12):

So the bunk room is, you know, a three month challenge for you as well.

(00:10:17):

But I think that the four women will have a blast in there together.

(00:10:20):

I have my own separate quarters, of course, but

(00:10:24):

the house is spread out and has so many nooks just for something wild and wonderful like this.

(00:10:33):

So you might not have your own bedroom, but there’s three other day beds.

(00:10:37):

There are three huge couches.

(00:10:39):

There’s two different porches.

(00:10:41):

There’s two yards.

(00:10:42):

Like it’s a funky house because it’s a hundred years old, but it is ready.

(00:10:48):

And it is the house itself.

(00:10:51):

I’m telling you is like, I feel like it’s excited about this.

(00:10:53):

So,

(00:10:54):

New chapter and we can’t wait to see who we welcome.

The Wampus Dispatcch

This is not a podcast.

It’s a transmission.

A ritual.

A rebellion against every remix trap, override, and soft silencing that’s ever touched a woman’s voice.
